Our hero, Thorfinn, has listened since childhood to the exciting stories of Leif about a land far to the west called Vinland. However, all his hopes and dreams were shattered by a raid from mercenaries. Thorfinn's dream, raised by the very killers of his father, becomes one of revenge against the Viking leader Askeladd for his father's death.
